Sprint + Nextel = Sprint

We’re crazy disappointed that they didn’t go drrrty and decide to call the new combined company “Sextel”, but Sprint and Nextel announced their new brand strategy and logo today (we can’t be the only ones who think that the new logo is dull as dirt). The merged entity will be called “Sprint Nextel Corporation”, and while they’re going to keep the name “Nextel” as a product brand, the so-called “master brand” will be just “Sprint”.

Guess Sprint realized right quick that something wasn’t quite right with their new logo, someone just leaked to us a JPEG of this newly revised version they could be introducing soon. Hopefully this one’ll pass mustard, er, muster.

The worst part is that I left Sprint 4 years ago and went to Nextel because I finally got fed up with Sprint's awful customer service, and now they buy out my Nextel. This sucks. Sprint has the worst customer service of all the big companies every year. :(
