Q about uploading

if i am up loading at 40 KB how long will it take to upload 1gig ???
same for 30 KB, or how do i work it all out cheers.

I worked it out at 40KBps up,a gig would take 69hrs 44 mins roughly
and at 30KBps to about 93 hrs,if I've done the math right:)
The way I did it was 60 secs *40kbps *60=144000KBper hour
divide 1 gb by 144000 gives the answer,probably totaly wrong,I'm sure someone will correct me if wrong

if you upload at 40kbps it will take you 7 hours to up a gig , if you upload at 30kbps it will take you 9hours and 15 minutes.
