Anyone else hyped about this? Basically it's an WW2 RTS. I'm really interested in this, because i love WW2 games, and i've been wanting to try a decent RTS recently, so it's a perfect match. Comes out next February

This one does look pretty cool, athough I'm not a big RTS fan, the Warhammer 40k ones this studio did was great

i dont get it, it dosent look like an RTS, most of ScreenShots are like FPS( like this one (http://i.i.com.com/cnet.g2/images/2006/235/927618_20060824_screen001.jpg)), what kinda ist acctualy, last RTS i played was C&C: Generals.
anyhow very good graphics comparing to most of RTS's, will get this for sure.

Is it true you need 8GB of space just to install the demo? I read on Gamespot you do. I haven't had a chance to play it coz i need to get a new hard drive, can never have enough free space on my current one

Not sure about the 8 Gigs. System requirments look similar to most of the latest games (which means I don't think I'll be able to run it :().

Sys Requirements (from Amazon (http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/system-requirements/B000GJEF2E/ref=dp_nav_2/202-0397752-9687047?ie=UTF8&n=468294&s=gateway))

Minimum System Requirements: Windows XP or Vista
2.0 GHz Intel Pentium IV or equivalent or AMD Athlon XP or equivalent
512 MB RAM
DirectX 9.0c compatible 64MB video card with Pixel Shader 1.1 support or equivalent and latest manufacturer drivers
DirectX 9.0c compatible 16-bit sound card
DVD-ROM drive
Keyboard, Mouse
6.5 GB of uncompressed free hard drive space (We recommend having 1 gigabyte of free space after installation)

Gamespot have given the game 8.9 :)

Company of Heroes is technically remarkable and features some novel twists that make it unique among real-time strategy games. Yet while it's easy to get into, it's not just difficult to master but also rather difficult to manage, partly because the game does such a good job of evoking the sheer chaos of frontline WWII battles. The relatively small number of units spread across the two playable factions also means that this game doesn't have the sheer variety you might expect from an RTS, though the units themselves seem much more realistic and interesting than in most such games. In spite of these issues and the game's steep requirements, remarkably, Company of Heroes still stands out from the glut of WWII-themed games released over the years, as well as the glut of real-time strategy games.

Did you buy or download it?

What kind of specs does the machine that you're running it on have?

Would a laptop be able to run it (it has 512MB ram and a fairly decent processor, the graphics card may not be too hot though :().
