Who will win.

Phil "The Power" Taylor, the best ever but played pishly yesterday in the semi.

Peter "One Dart" Manley, a git, but excellent in his semi-final.

I still think Taylor, but the semi-finals were ominous.

I definately think it's going to be one of them.

Phil taylor just seems to good at the moment, he seems to be able to not play up to scratch and still win :lookaroun

Good point, but I think Manley is confident enough to win if Taylor plays badly.

Manley will also get pelters from the crowd. Particularly after the debacle with Lewis (Taylor's Protege).

There's at least a couple, this is the real one with most of the best players. The PDC.

Taylor takes the first leg against the darts.

Double with his second dart.

Looks really calm and confident.

JPaul
01-02-2006, 08:03 PM
A 170 finish in the second leg.

Taylor wins first set 3-0, two legs against the darts.

I've never, ever seen him looking this concentrated.

I can't see that happening again, but Taylor looks really serious.

Tho' if Manley loses the plot who knows. I can't imagine that happening, after the way he played yesterday.

Manley wins a leg - game on.

JPaul

Taylor goes 2 sets up.

JPaul
01-02-2006, 08:25 PM
Taylors averaging over 109 with a 75% checkout rate.

It's unpossible.

JPaul

3-0 in sets

Manley is fighting back, but Taylor is awesome.

You think Taylor was just messing about in the semis.

Making the public believe that someone else actually stood a chance this year.

I did actually think that, coz he really is that good.

More to set Manley up for a fall than anything else. After he fucked about with you Lewis' head in the quarters.

Taylor does seem genuinely fond of Lewis, treats him like a son sort of thing.

JPaul
01-02-2006, 08:41 PM
The other thing is that Taylor is well minted. Manley wouldn't even be in his leaque cash wise.

There's a difference of £50,000 between first and second.

Yeah man. If you get in shape, keep up those in bathroom hand exercises and practice at your local pub, you can be there in 5 years or so.

I wonder if they have darts on ESPN or ESPN2 and who are the sponsors.

I was surprised to see Rocafella sponsor Rugby Union.

Mourinho will probably try to sign him in the transfer window.

4-0

Manley's head may drop now, who knows. I still think he has a enough pride to keep fighting. Especially after the last 7-0, when he walked off the stage without shaking hands.

It is obvious from the look in Taylor's eyes that he really doesn't want to let him win a set.

6-0

It's total destruction.

Manley has won just 6 legs. He was actually rather cocky when he was interviewed before the game. I think he had it in the bag (in his head)

After yesterday I'm starting to get more convinced that it was deliberate. These are the best darts I have ever seenm from anyone.

Nah, he was a twat when he played mind games with the 20 year old lad. Taylor is teaching him a lesson.

The funny thing is that he's saying he learned a lot the last time Taylor did this to him. Maybe he didn't learn enough.

No-one has ever dominated a sport like "The Power" has, or been so much better than his peers.

It's an honour to be able to watch him.

Chapeau.
