never been one, always thought it was daft. Almost took it literally at first too, thought people online who went lol at everything were weird as feck. Was a bit like finding an online insane asylum or somesuch, people loling madly at everything.

I dont think I ever was.

There are insane asylums, and then there are insane asylums, is all I'm sayin' :snooty:

And anyway, I'd like to think I say it like it's a mad thing.

Nope, this was the first forum I joined and I was never a lol'er

The funniest lol'ers are the ones who lol at their own posts.

If it's funny people will know, you don't have to tell them. Unless they are lol'ers obviousement.

Everyone must be kinda the same. I never use to use capitals and also put my name at the bottom of my post

I've only just started to use the correct apostrophe and only really got use to putting spaces after punctuation marks :smilie4:

Snee
01-16-2006, 07:11 PM
Wot's a corrst apostrophe then?

FTR, my english speeling and grammar have degraded, not counting my first few days on the temp board ('cos those were fuzzy and special), since I joined this board.

It's not something the board has done to me tho', it's 'cos I only ever use english online nowadays, and that's not enough.

You have to put spelling mistakes in now and again for the grammer police :schnauz:

Aren't spelling mistakes outside thier jurisdiction?

Would think they'd only be permitted to site people for grammar misdemeanors.
