Battlefield 1942

I just downlaoded bf 1942 cd1 and cd2, burned it to a cd and when i tried to install it it gave me a couple or crc error and on cd2 it said "specific media could not be found in the media name" then it shut down the intallation. WEhn i find one that does work, it said i need to place the correct cd in the cd-rom. i try the crack which work but couldn play online because version was out of date so i install the 1.31 patch and i couldn even start the game after the 1.31 patch was install. i need help. and can someone tell me where to get a download that actually work. thanx.

I downloaded cd 2 but how do I put it on a cd? Its a white box and when I open it it goes to comand prompt?

I get specified media not found as well on CD1, there are some intructions in the file when you highlight it in Kazaa but I don,t know what they are on about "remove .exe file from cd1 then use a cue file to burn it to CD using Nero" were the hell is the cue file and how do you create one?? The link to the instructions does not work. I think that is just a Nero use instruction though.
Also did you try copying the crack file back in(again) after you did the upgrade to 1.31?

rename the file to .bin if it is not there after i have removed the .exe from it and call the cd1 "bf1941cd1" or something like that

now open note pad and copy and past this into it

FILE "xxxxx" BINARY
TRACK 01 MODE1/2352
INDEX 01 00:00:00


xxxxx = the name of cd1, save the file as a .cue make another for cd2 now put all 4 files into the same dir open nero - click file burn image - direct nero to the dir with these files in and burn one of the .cue file :)

I just have a white box called BF1942.BIN Now how do i remove the exe? Do I right click it and put rename and rename to what? Cant I just open it with winiso and convert it to a Iso then burn it with nero?

if the file is called xxxxx.bin now then all u should need to do is make the .cue file like i said..

Oh ok its named .bin already. But its a white box like a program? Is that ok? Can I make a cue anyway? And what if I dont change the name and leave it the same name as the original download to make the cue? Do I replace the xxx wit that name?

just leave the bin file name as it is but make sure the cue reads as follows ( if thats the file name;) )

the part inbetween the quotes HAS to be exactly as the same name as the .bin file or it will not work

Ok, I did all that But nero says it cant open the bin or cue. It says error in line 1 and it says Can not open C:\My Dwnloads\New Folder\FL-BFD2.cue Error in line 1? Why?

I had the same prob, u need to open it with WinISO get it off of Kazaa (make sure u get the crack)
click OPEN then make sure the file browser say All Files
then double click on the file
and select all its contents and extract it to a folder then BURN! :D

I'll just convert to iso and burn to a cd.
