NHL 2006..What are the fighting controls?(Xbox)

I reciently rented it and it dodnt come with a instructions book. I know how to punch the body and head, but they keep blocking and I keep getting my ass handed to me.

Can someone provide me the controls for fighting, along with some tips?

The controls are the same for ps2, but I don't know the name of the xbox buttons. All the fighting controls are on the right side of the controller being the 4 buttons. The top button is a high punch, the bottom button is a low punch, the button on the right will block a high punhc, and the button on the left will block a low punch.
