Yesterday , i finally watched for the first time in my life The Godfather and wow this is the worlds best movie, the best movie ever made. What do you guys think?

it's got its moments, i prefer godfather part 2.

Discreet Charm Of The Bourgeoisie or bergmans The seventh seal.
Have you seen Robert De Niro in Taxi Driver.

The Lord of the Rings Trilogy
12 Angry Men (1957)
Shichinin no samurai (1954)
Pulp Fiction (1994)
Vertigo (1958)

I've never seen The Godfather, will have to give that a look.
taxi driver is a great film.

I saw this post Yesterday, so today, I watched the movie at work (just half, next half tomorow), and it doesn't look that impresive, does it get better the second half?
I would have to say that 'Scarface' is better.

I would have to say that 'Scarface' is better.

Scarface is more action, and ya, I would prefer Scarface.

But the fact is, that godfather 1&2 are movie masterpieces, no one has to "like them", but I choose to simply because of the drama involved...and I fecking hate dramas, so that's gotta be saying something.
