Theme Hospital (Help Needed)

Hey guys,

Without a shadow of a doubt, theme hospital is one of, if not THE best PC games ever made. I used to play it all the time as a kid...

And so I decided to buy it the other day. It was on sale for £2.99 and my other one was long gone. After installing the patch I realised there was a multiplayer option. "COOL!" I thought and persuaded my friend to buy it who also loved the game.

But neither of us can figure out how to get the multiplayer working. I mean theres no bit for IP addresses or anything like that. Does anyone know how to do this?


I will be eternally grateful if someone can help me out :)

Yeah it becomes availible through the patch.

Blast from the past game it is. Brought a tear to my eye when i played it again :).

Theme Hospital was definitely The game for about a year in our house.
I remember patching it but we never played multiplayer because we only had one PC.
It's not a phone-your-friend type, is it?

I saw the game posted on the underdogs abandonware site a long while back. Maybe you should ask over there.

It is possible that the games' multiplayer is IPX connection only and no TCP/IP.

Ahh...theme hospital! I'd also recommend SimTower if you love this game. Two classics that are in my book.
