View Full Version : Emule dying?

With all sorts of traffic shaping and prioritising from my service provider, my emule speed has hit rock bottom. I hear that same things are happening with many people. Unless this is addressed I see edonkey and emule die out pretty quickly. Does anyone know if there are plans to tackle this or are there other clients that uses encryption like bittorent clients on edonkey network?

As far as I know there is only 1 ed2k client w/ protocol encryption, NeoMule, get the latest one.

Emule is giving way to BT gradually.

It does however give access to a lot of older/rarer files, particularly video, which are unavailable via bittorrent.

As long as it doesn't get flooded with fakes it should settle into a place in the scheme of things.

How could a network that uses a hash system be flooded w/ fakes?

Still pretty good especially for those rarer harder to get files.

Hellllooooooooo! How many current release fakes find their way onto Torrent sites? If its on a public tracker, RAR'd but with no sample then dont touch it with a Barge pole.
