WinMx was never gone..it had not totally lost it's functionality..only the peer network was "down", after losing the servers that were mainly responsible for the working, of the primary network and all the chat channels...The secondary network was the temporary solution to begin with. WinMx users flooded the opennap networks, with disorientated WinMx users still trying to get their client to work on the "lost" primary network.. ..Now there have been a lot of attempts by different "patchers" and so WinMx is breaking up into different networks.... as far as I can make out ..

I have noticed that even the dedicated share chat rooms on mx have set up back up rooms on DC++, mirc, Filetopia the list goes on. WINMX for me was my first love and it will be my last music of the future music of the past...blahhhhh..

FFS this anti MX bollox is rubbish use it and abuse it like limewire, Bit torrent and Newsgroups. Whatever who gives a dam what users use as individuals.
