i want the game medal of honour spearhead but since its an expantion does that mean i need another medal of honour to play it?

in other words can this game be played stand alone?

You need the full MOH on your drive, as it says 'Expansion' ok.

If you happen to find a rip, then yes, sometimes no, but most of the time yes. But if it's store bought or a CD image, you do need MOHAA. Like davinda, said note that "Expansion" means it's expanded from the orginal game.

@o_ICEMAN_o, did you even play any expansion packs before?
