it matters, if you have a game pad then the TV is alsome( I know cuz I have a Geforce FX w/ TV out) but if your using feyboard then stick with the monitor ;)

Also if your t.v. has s-video in then use that and the image quality should be great. If you only can use rca cables on the t.v. then the image may not be so good.
