There are a few networks on Slavanap (opennap) who concentrate on old tv /radio shows...I also share some old radio programs in my share portfolio :)

Check the link in my sig for info how to connect or just drop into SoulSeek..

I'm trying to get the DVDRips of Stargate, Stargate Atlantis, Lost, 24, Battlestar Galactica and etc.

I'm using DC++ (RevConnect) but there's to few sources to some episodes, (some episodes I can't find more than 3 sources), but RevConnect is faster to download, sometimes I reach 200 Kb/s, when I use eMule, I found enough sources for what I want, but I just can't download at more than 50 kb/s (when I'm lucky)

there are some tv special torrents sites also RSS feeds like eztv,if you want high speeds you should try private tv special trackers first. They storage all those episodes new to old.If you are not ok with torrent and you want to up one level you should try usenet but you couldnt find old files at usenet. In contrast you can get higest speed what your ISP provides to you with usenet.

Torrents are great for this. torrentspy and mininova (use google) both have an incredibly reasonable search function -- you should be able to tap in what you're looking for and find it.

For older and more obscure shows, I'd actually pay a visit to youtube -- it's easier to acquire niche video there.

I would use torrents for tv shows or even DC++ which is a good software for your tv eps.

Yeah, but searching newsgroups is always a bit of a hassle. If you have a good torrent site that is usually all you need. Although, you'll need a good torrent site :)

Ya if you get Bitmetv, TVJunkies and TVTorrents i think you'll get every tv show :)

actually, you only need bmtv, the last two are small communities with lots of dead torrents but bitmetv has seeders for most torrents months after the inception of the torrent. plus most dvdrips are scenereleases if you care about that.

ps. i think tvjunkies has a fair chance of growing now that the free-leech period has ended. there are a quite a few users uploading new stuff... looks promising

which, newsgroups or p2p, is more likely to have shows like Room 222, Lucas Tanner, or Lassie?
