Does anyone know how to fix my scrolling problem with AOE?

I recently downloaded AOE (Age of Empires) and was going to play it and when I get to the map it automatically scrolls to the top of the page (without my help). I fixed it once by installing a new driver for my mouse and keyboard, but it is doing it again. I have a wireless mouse/Keyboard, do you think it is due to a low battery? :frusty:

The batteries show good on the driver/monitoring software. Currently the only way i can fix it is to reboot.

it used to do that when i ran winamp in the background with 'always on top' activated, you could try running the game in a window that worked for me before i noticed winamp was causing it
