Aug 2 to Aug 7 a long weekend yeh . I hav'nt heard much about the game Red Orcestra but its free so will check it out . :w00t:

I thought I'd better post it early ,I hate when you hear about it with a day to go like Day of Defeat . :lol:

@Seedler , how does one go about down loading it early and then it installs on Aug.2 ?

Yup, looking forward to Red Orchestra. I was thinking about getting it, but i played it when it was a UT2k4 mod and i wasn't really blown away by it, so i left it.

DOD: source free weekend was friggin sweet, but RO isn't that big anyways, just go to bed late on Aug 2 after 12:00am and start the download, install when you wake up and play!!:D

Yup, looking forward to Red Orchestra. I was thinking about getting it, but i played it when it was a UT2k4 mod and i wasn't really blown away by it, so i left it.

Well then you'll probably be even less impressed, because the Unreal 2.0 engine UT2K4 uses is far better than the HL1 engine that this version of RO is based on.

Nah, common misconception that Steam games are all on the Source engine. But i didn't know it was on the HL1 engine!

Tank battles are amazing.

Arad is the best map.

Its been fun..till the lag starts. Im seriously considering buying another 512 of ram and a 200$ video card.

Its just the fact that this is a compaq and a sempron that bothers me.

i tried red orchestra it's pretty good. but i'm not gonna buy it , have to save some money for broken hard disk :'(
