Being this is my first real job I have never been interviewed before. They want me to work in the electronics section and I think I have enough knowledge for it. My question is if anyone here has worked for Wal-mart or something simular would know what kind of questions may be asked in the interview? My interview is tommorow, I would like to just be better prepared for it.

when was the last time you contributed to a team effort and what was your role?

have you ever helped someone else achieve their goal or helped to better themselves and if so, how?

what would you say are your strengths and weaknesses?

why do you feel you would be better suited for this job compared to other applicants?

'n stuff lol :ermm:

Meh, I once did a job-interview where I listed each and everyone of my flaws, in great detail.

I didn't care if I got the job, so naturally I did :dabs:

Not acting like you are nervous is prolly key.

I didn't realize that Wal-Mart even had an interview process beyond checking for a pulse and a Social Security number.

One of our dumbass customers started working at WM (in the Electronics Dept. no less) and after landing the job, would come in with a list of questions he'd been asked during the day.
Why he though I'd be amenable to doing his research is beyond me.
I told him to just make up whatever answer came into his head and nobody would ever know.

I think he's now the department head.

Well I just got back from the interview it wasn't even questions that you guys mentioned nor the website I went to. Basicaly it was just questions about situations like "If I was in a hurry to do something how would you do it and why?" Dumb questions like that. I expected them to atleast ask me to tell them about myself... If I do get the job which I most likely will. It will be in the electronics and get payed with a starting paygrade of $6.90... They add like 30 cents to every year of experience you have in other jobs. I didn't know that till the last minute. So if anyone applys there I recommend put atleast 4 years experience for the extra cash...

I was going to recommend staying awake during the interview but it sounds like that would not have been a big issue. :ermm:

They really should keep up with their store cleanliness, but at least the urine smell I've encountered in a few is now explained.
