last game i played that i could put in this definition: Super Mario Bros. (NES emulator). I also own an actual console :) :D

Other that that, i recomend you some emulators (sega, nes, super nintendo) since i don't remember any (fairly) new 2D game.

Dope Wars is not jump/run but i sort of get addicted last time i played few yrs back... maybe you can give it a try

I liked ghosts'n'goblins, golden axe 1 & 2, old prince of persia. Good games that go quickly. Metal slug was also kind of good.

Try Socom.. It's free online and fun to play on a network with other people. We used to play it at school during Computer Programming class.

Try Duke Nukem - Manhatten Project, Claw , Tarzan , they r really good games of uer type :-)

Original duke nukem or 3d version were better, well its all long time ago. Im looking for something interesting new.

i found something cool out. if you have a gamepad you can set up goldeneye & perfect dark on project 64 up with modern console FPS controls.

playing them shows how little FPS has really changed in ten years.

you can set up almost any N64 FPS up but the Rare ones are the only ones i know to use two analog sticks properly
