Just moved and my only option is sattelite internet so i went with the $100 monthly plan.hn7000s is my modem is there anything you guys can tell me to help out my speeds and also what have your experiences been with hughesnet.Are my torrenting day over?

The usaul things i guess like portforwarding and stuff never have used a satallite connection so could'nt help you more sorry.

What kind of download and upload speeds are you getting with that package?

Thanks dude for checking some things out for me.Really doesnt look to promising but i can only get this or dial up so i have no choice :(.Thanks alot though.What site you from anyway?

you need to get the static ip option:

also, make note of the FAP. you'll be reduced to dialup speeds anyway, after you transfer a certain amount of data per time period:

Man they really know how to screw people don't they.Paying out the ass for this crap and they limit your download to 150mb i should rip the huge satellite off the roof and tell them to come get it lol.

Its crazy how they get away with those kind of crazy policies and manage to stay in business especially for the price they are charging you can probably rent a server somewhere and VNC from there but then you are still stuck with dial up or Directway. :/
