Without counting up the reasons given, I'd give my life (so far) a 7/10.

I still haven't; kicked Mickey Mouse in the ass, managed to walk through the fish section in Asda without gagging, got a pink mohawk, made edible rice or boiled an egg, danced the Gay Gordons without tripping up, listened to Leonard Cohen without wanting to cut myself, thrown a hawt mug of tea off the Eiffel Tower....oh bugger it...

edible rice is hard, i've recently discoveres that boiled eggs & toast soldiers pwn all hangovers.

the best bis i don't own a egg cup but they do sit very nicely in a shot glass.

Dan wash your rice first,then lightly fry it in a little oil,then add stock or water to the frying pan and simmer for 15 mins,should be spot on,top up liquid if needed,skweeky recommended this way and it works great.

How hard is it btw to wash some rice in a sieve put it in a pan and cover with about an inch of water and boil gently for 10 minutes?

Edit: majorly impressed that so many have voted 10 - I went for 8 myself on the mustn't grumble basis.

Water (salted) should be on a very gentle simmer, just a few bubbles if any. Boil it and then let it cool to that state. You can use boiled water from a kettle, it's quicker.

Break egg and very slowly let it into the water, from just above the water. Works much better with fresh eggs as the albumen holds together.

Wait.

Remove with slotted spoon.

Sorted.
