Have you ever downloaded a virus through BT?

Have any of you ever downloaded a virus using the BT protocol? The only time this happened to me was when I got a crack from BTjunkie.org.

Yes it is possible, even at some private sites.
I have gotten one at Demonoid, not really a private site, but I have seen 1 other at a somewhat rare private site. I have also seen some Keygens that have been picked up as malicious code.

private or public, never. Equally ive never got one from limewire back when i used to use that, youve just gotta make sure you dont download something thats the wrong filesize for its format or something which very few other people have downloaded.

Most of the stuff I get are quite popular though. So if someone posted a virus as a fake, other members will probably have commented about it.

True, if you have a chance to look at the comments before a mod comes around and does his duties you should be safe. On private sites they are very rare, and should not last long if the staff is doing their jobs to protect the members.
Also places where there are designated uploaders there should be none.

Personally I Haven't But Its Very Easy To Do So Even On Private Tracker Like Keygens Or Cracks That Kinda Stuff Can Have Hidden Viruses And Stuff You Just Gotta Be Aware And Careful At All Times No Matter What U Are Doing

I haven't yet...but I am very careful if I download any progs and always scan stuff with anti-v first. I don't think I'd d.l progs from public trackers anyhow.

I've downloaded a few viruses from public trackers, usually the no-cd cracks/patches that contain the virus. Luckily my trusty NOD32 came to the rescue.
