It may be because they were scammers or may have messed around with other members. They may have been spy's all that sort of stuff. Also yes spammers and dupe accounts!!!

No, those are the reasons in most cases.

You're wrong. Lately almost all people with disabled privileges got it because of spamming.

ok i have a suggestion to help with the spamming, perhaps let users close any thread they open? i mean treads like these which ive opened:

http://filesharingtalk.com/vb3/bittorrent/t-iplay-down-151810
http://filesharingtalk.com/vb3/bittorrent/t-bitmetv-vs-tvtorrents-150517

they've turned into spamming thread and i would like to close them but can't.... i mean we can close our threads in the invites section i dont c how it'll hurt closing them everywhere else...

I agree with this. 19 people telling me a site is down is way too much. Although, at the same time an update every hour or so to know wether the tracker is back up or not would be nice...

How about installing the hack to merge double posts?

Rayn0r

Have you tried 'Thread Tools'? I know a poster can close their own thread in the Invites section, I don't remember if it works in the Bit-torrent section though. Let me know, if not we'll look into it.

I'm not sure if any of things will be implemented, but for the time being, you can PM me with any of these issues such as closing threads, and double postings. I'll take care of them.
