I download Biohazard4(Residentevil)from revtt and now i want to seed it with my ftn account since it just showed up on that site but the only problem is that the torrents are just a little different and i'm not sure what is different about them so i can fix it.So basically if anyone knows the difference in the two and could let me know that would be cool.Thanks.

Can't you hash it with the FTN torrent and just let it download the difference?

Yeah thats what usually happens....it checks data and downloads the difference and seeds.....

Why? Are referring to outside seeding or the fact that some admins might think your cheating?

I've done outside seeding, and sites aren't bothered by it. I was PMed from an SITR admin, but I explained what I was doing, and everything's fine now.

Make sure the files are called the same.

Then delete .nfo and .sfv files (they'll be redownloaded) and you can seed there.

You can hash the torrent and before it will be begin the download stop the torrent and look at the filelist and mark they to don`t download it then you can seed at two trackers at the same time and have no trouble

I do this a lot of times and never had a problem. Download from somewhere and also seed somewhere else afterwords. First, the files you downloaded have to completly match. But the torrent doesnt have to be exactly the same.

In this case, when you load the torrent file from ftn, just dont select any file. Click on "select none" if you're using utorrent and leave everything unticked. The client will hash the files and seed them, without downloading anything else (i just dont know if you'll be considered a "seed", in case there's any extra file different from the torrent you already downloaded).
