Nothing to DL?

Basically i use torrents to download my...

-Music
-TV shows
-Movies
-Pr0n...

But lately since my mate gave me access to a really sick seedbox...i seem to be running out of stuff to Download...THERE IS NOTHING TO DOWNLOAD!@!? I have watched every tv show and movie i DL..and have about 300gigs of unwatched pr0n...:D:):D:) (I have a pr0n business with school mates)...and i am finding it very hard to download anything interesting...

Does anyone have the same problem? Or is Hollywood not producing fast enough...

That is impossible. There is always something to download, its just amazing at the amount of material that is currently available versus what there was 10 years ago . :P

But for me, TV shows generally keep me pretty occupied ;) Here are some good ones out now (or before) that you could always give a try (if you have not done so already):

In the movie genre, you can easily grab FTN's "DoNE.Collection.DVDRips.XviD-FTN" pack; many good things there.

I kinda have a similar problem but I dont watch a fraction of what I have downloaded :P Have so many tv season burnt on DVD that it will last me for years and have about 750 GB of tvshows, music and movies on hdd but still I never have anything too watch... :blink: :wacko: :P

*sigh* I'm still waiting for Letters from Iwo Jima to come out. If it doesn't, then I'm definitely going out to see it.

In the meantime, spend some time around Last.fm to find new good underground stuff to download.

Really? I just love good dramas in general. I tend to like the thrillers, but I don't like horror, especially stuff with heavy jump scenes. I'm ok with action and comedies too, but I just can't find comedies that are especially good. As for chick flicks, I only watch those that my friends are crazy about, just to know what they are talking about.

TV-wise, I just download the good stuff that I miss, e.g. Prison Break, Heroes, The Office, My Name is Earl, The Apprentice, Las Vegas, the Simpsons, American Dad, The War at Home, etc.

I like non-mainstream stuff for music, but I occasionally tune in to the radio charts to find out what's new and potentially good. I mostly like heavy rock and undergroun-ish rap (because mainstream rap is especially bad, let me tell you that).

lol, dude, i can tell u that your connection is not that fast as u wished it be.

first of all, do not download crappy xvids, mp3 ect, instead start downloading the HD DVD or blu ray movies, tv shows, music only in flac orDVD-V or DVDA.

besides it's impossible just to watch all the time movies tv shows , because u r getting really tired of watching, it dosnet bring u the fun, and u probably having the whole sesons just watch them with forwarding unitneresting moments ect

so, don't download these crap, because having fats pipe u should download better quality stuff ( like HD stuff - one movie about 20 -30 GB big)

i assure u, that then u ll realize that your connection is slow, and of course new hdds r badly needed.

As long as you have bandwidth to spare, start downloading the "true HDTV" versions of PB and Heroes. They're tagged with "720p" and can be found on sites like RevTT, bit-hdtv, hd-bits.ro, etc. in the x264 category. The resolution goes up to 1280x720(ish). I try to download Heroes in 720p, and the lower qualities for other programs I don't care about as much. :P

In addition, usually the files are in MKV containers with AC3 (Dolby Digital) audio, and sharp video. You may not be able to enjoy AC3 without a receiver or surround speakers, but you can at least enjoy the video and have archival quality files. :yup:

DivX DVD players are great.

What about old shows. Dallas, The Dukes of Hazzard, Cheers, Red Dwarf, Star Trek, Doctor Who (there's only 25 seasons of the classic one). Try out some other shows like Corner Gas, or Father Ted.

I think what you meant to say was that you are out of current stuff to download either you are caught up or it doesn't interest you. Start watching some of the older shows that run 10 seasons and you'll have plenty of material to download. And since you have a sick seedbox you won't have any problem with ratio.
