Duties are not performed for duty's sake, but because their neglect would make the man uncomfortable. A man performs but one duty - the duty of contenting his spirit, the duty of making himself agreeable to himself.

I remember discussing this a while back as part of this thread...

(I know it's about 5 Button Mice, but there is some cordless discussion later on)

Hey Soul814, looks like you got a nice one! How's it work with graphically intense games?

Mine is all most the same only my key board is ergonomic.
And the batteries seem to last alot longer, and the mouse is wireless optical.

With the ergonomic key board its split into two,I find you can type faster this way.And its not as hard on the wrists.

i've read that certain mousemats can help increase the battery life of cordless mice, they sell them on http://www.overclockers.co.uk it's something to do with them allowing the mouse to run on power saving mode

ummm it works great in intense games.... :P... no lag... cept i dink wen the battery is gettin low... i was playing warcraft III and hte battery died on me!... lol ...

the only fault is that the mouse i got sent had a bad right click but i was too lazi to send it back... the right click gets jammed every once in a while :(... ut it was a 3 button mouse + scroller so i switched one button to the right click... :P so it still works great...

umm no the mouse + keyboard set i got had no rechargable mouse dock thing... :( i cant figure out how to shut the mouse when im not using it... to save energy

battery cost can stack up!!!

12 months = 12 dollars or more!!!

I use a Gyration Ultra keyboard/mouse combo...

The mouse is rechargeable and you can use it in midair...

The keyboard is unusually small but the keys are fullsize...

Also it works with radio waves not infrared so it has a far longer range and it doesn't require a line of sight (I'm not sure why you would be using your keyboard and mouse in a situation where you weren't in the same room as your computer but I guess that's a good thing....)

The only downsides are the cost and the fact that the mouse only has three buttons...

hehe, i ordered a rechargable radio frequency mouse today. it has a recharge cable that plugs into a usb port, so i think it may take up 2 usb ports, but i don't care, i can always get a powered hub if i run out of ports. only cost £15 from dabs.com
