Windvd2000?

I was given a copy of WinDVD2000 today.
What's all that about then?
What exactly is WinDVD2000? Is it any good?
I can't find an explanation on the net, someone please tell me.

YE'.. its a good software dvd,media player, used to use it on winME,
but i don't think it runs on xp . :D
