Hey, I can't log onto my leeware box. Does anyone else have the same problem?

I was thinking about posting this too, but I thought it was just that my VPS had crashed. Looks like they're having some network issues. :(

Get on the irc. ;)

I hope that's what it is. Not that the GOV is cracking down.

I can connect to SSH, but it's not prompting me for a password and times out. I can login to Webmin fine, though.

I hope they weren't ordered by the courts to shutdown. If that's the case, then the next step is to subpoena the client list.

I can't even log into the web min. Haven't tried ssh. vnc prompted me for a pass, but then timed out. I don't know if that means the vnc server is still running or not.

I wouldn't worry at all, there are much bigger fish in the sea. They wouldn't waste their time on low level users, they have topsites to infiltrate.

Probably some Data center upgrade or maintenance.

well, when you think about it, when was the last time any of you shutdown the server? maybe it's overheating.

I thought it was just me.. don't be so paranoid though. Leeware has more customers than just P2Pers.. My box is down though.

Well.. seems my VPS is alive (but still kinda dead)

I loaded it with too many torrents, hasn't been very responsive but when i connect to it (apache) with firefox it says

Waiting for vpsxxx.leeware.com... try it with your boxes.

it's back!

And sorry for the paranoia. I don't want to ruin my life with a felony conviction.

Still timing out on the SSH, guess it's not totally back.

The servers are up, but there are long periods of approximately 90% packet loss. I assume either there is a DDOS against Leeware or the FDC datacenter, or there is a defective switch to WAN. Either way, I assume the problem will get fixed when Lee looks at it.

The other possibility is that the current network hardware is overloaded, since apparently Lee has hit the limit of physical capacity for servers. Though, that scenario is less likely.

I just pinged an FDC IP from their faq (66.90.66.1), no packet loss and about 26ms round-trip, so it isn't their problem.

Edit: Woah, just checked their dedicated server packages. $159/month for unmetered full duplex 100mbit! :O Of course, I have heard not-so-good things in general about FDC's bandwith.

it came and went very quickly for me.

My box is responding to http again, tflux won't load though..

My friend Nick has a box at FDC, he gets about 8TB a month and bursts to 60-70mbit.

What does he pay for that?
