you already have to be a member to get into the OiNK channel...

why do they require the irc-er to have an account at oink before he/she can access the channel? so strange . IRC meant to be as talk channel .

suppose that :

someone got ban without knowing why? How the hell could he/she talk to the staff on irc if the account has been banned?

I was just joking. I'm mocking the people who come in here and ask for the IRC of all of the top trackers when they wont even be able to join.

Members with banned accounts have access to 1 channel, where they can speak with staff about their accounts. They access this channel only through the chat link on the home page. Non-members, and members with disabled accounts are not allowed to join the regular channels, and have no reason to. The IRC server is for members only - it's not a public forum.

Thats a bit misleading e_male, since you immediately kick anyone who has been caught 'cheating'.

Why would we allow them to hang around? There's no explanation that will allow them back on the site when they're caught. "It was my friend/sibling/roommate" doesn't work, and neither does "I was just trying it, and will never do it again."
