The best chocolate I ever had in my life was just recently and it came in a tin and was given as a present to me. I have since been scouring the shops in London but can't find it anywhere. It's called "Alaus Mathez" and I think it's french.

The dark truffles? They are FANTASTIC and yet stunningly cheap.
We get them from CostCo. You have to be a member, they're theoretically a wholesaler, but anybody with a business or in any govt funded employment can join. Nearest branches to London are Watford (right on the M1 junction) and Reading.
