Need Help Asap!

I'm using windows movie maker 2. Every now and then, Windows Movie Maker will close. When I reopen, none of my work was saved. It happens randomly, I may be adding video transitions, or adding titles to a picture. I need to use this for homework, so some help would be greatly, and I mean greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!

hmmm that doen't sound good I had this happen to me with Office word kept closing by itself and guess what it was?? I had 7 trojan viruses had to format the whole damm drive :o

i have'nt used Windows Movie Maker, but you could have a look at something like InterVideo and all their products.
they're pretty easy to use, are not that big to download, and have mpeg 2 encoders.
