Better question is, what is allowed.
NB, WB and IT(IT allows trading invites by its rules) invites.
everything else results a warning or dissabling.

Invites are fine on alot of trackers.
Account trades are what gets you banned on most of them 99.9% of the time.

Well if you read the FAQs for trackers it says that you can use invites to invite friends and people that can contribute to the tracker. Invites are meant to be given out for free. I think most trackers would be against trading invites and especially accounts. When you give an invite expecting another one you are no longer giving it to invite someone that you really want to invite cause is a buddy of yours or because you think he/she will contribute to the tracker.

All Trades here are done by risk because most of the trackers forbid account and invite tradings and if u get caught by admin of the tracker u r trading then u may probably be warned or banned and that's why u have to be careful during trading and take some precautions like this basics (like not using the same username here as u r tracker,don't post the mail address u use in trackers in public ,.....etc )
