And Jaqozo wins the thread. One is faster, the other one has better pre-times and a few freebies. Great sites to have but they're not that better (if at all) than tl. Just rarer.

Raising userlimit is not gonna happen. We cater to users who have slow speeds. If people want blazing fast speeds (on older torrents), then I urge you to aim for ScT rather then FTN. We don't want to be like ScT. ;)

ScT and FTN are two sites I have never bothered to try to get into, to hard (and I think) completly overrated trackers

The stuff you find on FTN and ScT makes its way down to lesser sites in no time at all, there is no big advantage to having an account at these "topsites"

Ftn has better pretimes, better and more special packs(which also are free to download) and anything uploaded like 1 hour after pre, is also free.

Sct has better download speeds. But sct recently became p2l(even if it is mild p2l) which sucks IMO. I dont know how those speeds will be affected now that it became p2l. I assume that some people(with fast connections) will stop using sct and that more people will leech(since they will get upload credit from donating).

Also on sct, it is a lot harder to keep 1+ ratio(especially if you have slow connection) but this might change a little now that it became p2l.

I prefer ftn.

don't lose your sleep if you can't get invited there, they prefer to keep it small and thus consider themselves an "elite tracker" with pay-per-invite, etc etc.
Chances are that you will find 99% of it's contents around the same time at TL or RevTT or sometimes TBytes.
I shared accounts on both of them, and i found myself returning to TL and revTT all the time.

recently sct has bounced back with quick pretimes so i relike sct

there was a period where sct pretimes for television were really slow but now have bounced back

ftn is for rarity but SCT for speed aswell as content
also SCT has more torrents and last longer but FTN has some good packs but more or less similar to SCT

also i think staff more friendly at SCT overall

those who have neither should look for s********** (SCC)

i have to agree on this one , sct speed pwns ftn speed but not to that degree , and this is due to low number of users on ftn .
however 90% of ftn users use seed boxes even one seeder can satisfy your connection.

no that's not true some times ftn beats some times sct beats , a lot of time scc beat both yea scc .go into any pre channel .

sct is active , ftn is active but in ratio speaking ftn is more active since it has lower number of users where they all know each other and help each other on every thing ,
you can't compare 18000 users of sct to 5000 users of ftn.

No ratio and seed 1/1 or 48 hrs if you can't get 1/1 . i know such a system may not work with mininova or other public trackers b'cuz it's full of ignorant noobs that don't agree to the concept of sharing and you have to give in order to receive, but in a site like ftn full of l33ts that's not an issue , b'cuz users don't just seed 1/1 but 10000/1 .
