A very generous (a so called "friend") GIVES you an amazing account that he worked so hard on. Then you trade it for your own benefit.
Let's switch that... what if you were the person giving me a 3.5TB Buffered TL account (which you can pretty much free leech for the rest of your life). Then I trade it for a FTN account that is definitely not as valuable in terms of free leech and free stuff you can get from it. How would you feel?

I mean, you can do whatever you want with it, but just think of the other side to it.
