I would have to say that after weening myself off the wife beater, my favourite tipples of ale are

The more i think about it... I like them all. I am a German Pilsner fan, but the Stone Brewery puts out some awsome ales. The small pics are of Meister Pils by the way. I have a few bottles of Stella Artois in the fridge as well.

The things I miss about living in Europe... Beer was cheaper than a Coke.

Funnily enough I just mentioned Foster's in my PM to you. Other than Foster's I like Carlsberg and Grolsch. I drink Stella if I fancy having a fight with Crabgirl (which she always wins).

I can't drink Carling anymore after being poisoned on it at the Reading festival.

For some reason I only get hangovers with cheap beers like 1664 and Grolsch. I am fine with wife beater and strong beers, which is a good thing because I get pissed quicker and don't have hangover.

It tastes like chemicals. :ermm:

Down here it's £2.80 ($56.75) a pint.

Erdinger, a fine pint (and a bit). I think it's the glass that gives it the class. Plus the warm, smooth taste.

peroni, meh, too gassy for my palette.

If we are not just talking lager, but real ale, the best pint ever is from a brewery called Black Sheep. They have one called Riggwelter (which is an old farmer's term for a sheep thats rolled on its back and can't get back up).

Great pint.

anything that has "light" or "lite" cannot be good beer.

When you buy Keystone, you're shooting for quantity. $15 for 30-pack. :01:

"Light" beer is great, "Lite" beer is shit. ;)

Depends really. in my birth town of mighty Huddersfield, ask for a light anything, expect a slap and comments regarding your sexuality.

I'm all for a bargain though.

interesting, all your beers have something to do with light - Shiner, Sunshiner and Keystone Light.

Do you have wife-beater in USA?
