What does auto banning mean?

When I became a VIP on BitMe, I received a system message saying that I am now protected from auto banning. What does this mean? As I can guess, I will not be banned for inactivity now. Can anyone throw some light on this?

You also won't be banned automatically even if your ratio goes all the way down. :D

And yes, autobanning is due to low ratio. Now that you donated, you can leech w/o getting banned. But when your donor status is gone, the ax drops.

you don't get vip status by donating in bitme, it's a promotion based on upload amount and ratio
the donation based promotion is 'elite'

crossfade, why did you edit your post? The thing which you had posted is the same with bitme also. VIP is a rank based on ratio and data uploaded, not by donating. So you had posted the right information. :)
