hello,
i have this problem with the 52GB file at oink.
i am downloading only four parts (17.8GB) in total
but the disk space is less than that.
i want to delete one of the files to get some disk space while the torrent is working. how to do this?

some one will suggest, delete the torrent but not the files and then start it again, but this way it will start checking the files when i add it again it is gonna take at least 1.5 hours.

i dont want to stop downloading as there is a greater chance to seed when u download something from the only seeder.

i have tried to delete one of the files while partial seeding.
but it gives error of file not found.
so best is to delete tht file ftp and delete tht torrent and then select again and do hash check.
and hash check wont take more than 10-15 mins on leeware

wont take more than 10-15mins?!!
i think it depends on the size of the file and ram and processor of the computer
with leeware, only 512GB ram and the file size 52GB
i tried one only 10GB, it took more than half an hour.
i am gonna have to do it as space remaiing is less than 100MB while i need 2GB.

well i used to have leeware wid 384mb.
and it used to take me around 5 minutes to hash check a hd-movie of 4-6gb.

yes,
if we do some math 5X10x384/512 = 37.5 mins
surprising it took something like but since i was doing partial seeding. 18GB out of 52GB.
thanks.

the solution: do it the old way.

One advice, never download anything above 15.5 GB, because the disk space of leeware is just below 16 GB.

Delete torrent from the list.Add id again, select files you have downloaded, save it to correspoding dir/partition.

You could acctually set your client so that the file(S) you acctually have are set you be downloaded... all the other files you dont have/want... do not select them from the files list.. When your client checks those files and sees them as there it will mark the file as complete and thus let you seed the portions of the files you have without forcing you to download all the missing files in the packs.
