Never Install Imesh -- Has Viruses Bundled...

Well I installed it, seconds later I had norton informing me of worms, viruses etc, explorer.exe (hmm), other exe files

Next up it destroyed winsock, couldnt use the internet AT ALL

I tried using ad-aware then, 80 spyware files found, JUST from that install...

Next up I rebooted, windows wouldnt load anymore, it did but start etc didnt come, at all, ctrl alt delete, task manager, nothing showed up, except exe files like net.exe net1.exe and so on...

I tried new task, the entire thing froze, had to redo my computer

K-Lite, eMule and BitTorrent (and possibly Soulseek) - They're all the ones you need.

I wouldn't touch anything else with a barge pole (but then again, I was thinking that two weeks ago with eMule & BitTorrent :rolleyes: )

I use Shareaza on occasion. Over a year ago maybe 2, I installed an iMesh client. My experience was pretty bad. Had to run AAW6 and Spybot S&D alternately 4 or 5x with a few reboots in between. :lol: :lol: :lol:

thats kinda odd :blink: -are you sure you got it at the orginal site(not a fake one)? I used imesh in the past on my old comp and didnt have problems except spyware.

Installed it, norton comes up with viruses in explorer.exe right after install im like wtf, try to goto the website, wouldnt let me, but kazaa was still working

reboot, wouldnt work at all, used adaware and got over 80 spyware pieces and then windows wouldnt start anymore

Clean Imesh or Imesh Lite are better than normal Imesh but i dont think its worth downloading them because all of the versions of Imesh have something wrong with them like Virus, etc.. Just stick with K-lite and mIRC

yeah i installed imesh and suddenly my computer exploded
my eyesight got poorer and I lost all appetite

until I uninstalled imesh last month and phew
everything turned out fine

I installed the dr damn version seems alright to me, I sometimes use it for files that don't seem to be moving very fast, sometimes get more sourcres & sometimes it can also be faster, then again sometimes not :)
