I was looking on CNN today and saw this story about a Senator pushing the idea of Illegally download copyright music from the Internet once, or even twice, and you get a warning. Do it a third time, and your computer gets destroyed. I know that it is no where close but I just wanted to bring it to your attention. I think that Sen. Hatch is underestimating the number, power, and influence of the filesharing community. It would be great if he lost the next election or maybe something happened to his website, just a thought.

If he wants to lose the election he's going the right way about it.
If he wants to be sued for damage to peoples computers he's going the right way about it.

That guy will never lose an election based on going after file sharers!
His constituents are wealthy and upper middle class Americans that don't care one bit about dl-ing copyrighted material.
They can afford to go out and buy it!

Hmmmm - I didn&#39;t realize bible-belters counted as a race. Though actually, the thought is somewhat soothing... <g>
