If you are uninstalling kazaa & are going to reinstall it/ newer version etc. take out all the db files & then after you've reinstalled put them back in replacing them with the new db files. This will stop all your audio ending up being artist a or 3.

You might not want to do this if you're uninstalling because of a problem
Sorry if this has already been mentioned :)

Apparently MoodLogic will do wonders, but I doubt it.

Ok i have known about this trick. I always overwrite my new db folder with my old one so i dont mess up my 900 file names and desciptions that i have. I have just know updated to the latest version and to my surprise the db folder is not used in the newest version of this kazaa. It looks like it got replaced by some"kpp" file. WTF is up with this?? Now because of this smart move millions of ppl will be sharing "unknown" files with no desciption for them. This is total bs. There is no way that im going to add a name and some details to my 900 files. Is there any way to fix this or am i going to have to revert back to the old version??

Thanks
Sam

The DB folder is now located here:

2000/XP:

c:\documents and settings\%username%\application data\kazaa lite\db\

98/ME:

c:\windows\application data\db\
