When I begin installing the first CD I get a Catastrophib Failure message then the installation stops, anyone else has this problem? can you solve it?

well for me it says 'Catastrophic Failure and it stops installing--i downloaded cd mage and it showed over 4000 errors and cannot fix the file---anyone with info on this would be appreciated
