hi im using TMPGEnc to convert matrix reloaded to mpg so it will play on my dvd player but how do u get a fullscreen in svcd mode? its always 1 picture straight down the middle.

Is it wide screen you want? There's an option to maintain aspect ratio( no resize ).
I think you need to uncheck "begin encoding immediately" and then look for it in the advanced settings menu.

In the wizard I think u tick click frames and its the third option in the middle and chagne it to full screen the default is full screen anyway not sure what your asking if its wide screen then choose 16.9
