How to get invites for thedvdclub and KG without trading

Join the following irc:

Thedvdclub:

channel: <removed>
Tell them you are trying to sign up and need an invitation code. You will get the invitation code after giving a few links to your profiles on other tracker sites.

KG:
server: irc.brokensphere.net:6667
channel: #KaraGarga
Will invite you after you have shown to have enough knowlegde and interest in 'Arthouse, Cult, Classic, Experimental and rare movies'.

Don't abuse the generosity of these two private trackers.

Edit:
TDC have requested removal of their IRC info due to the number of visitors with no previous ratio proof they are now getting. They stress that they are now a private site.
oilslick asked members not to abuse their generosity but this appears to have been largely ignored by newer members & guests.

As a member of KG I would also like to add that another way to join (if you are not into IRC) is to join KG's forum (very easy to do, no invite or special access to post on the forum) and look around for the section titled invite requests. You are then required to answer a few questions about why you would like an invite to the site.

Since KG is a rare/arthouse film/music tracker, it is expected that you can contribute similar interests/uploads.

If Bruce Willis flicks are your mainstay, then I suggest you save the time to register and request as you won't get in. Mainstream anything is a big no-no. Period.

you have to register, and once you arie activated, look for the forum section Peer-to-Peer under general discussion. From there is a pinned thread at the top entitled...looking for a KG invite, look no further.

I was kicked on their IRC channel for asking for invites. I was told they don't give out invite codes on their support channel. :dry:
