Yeah, this is very handy.
I've been using it for a couple of weeks and love it.
I especially like the way it integrates right into my IE toolbar- looks like it came that way.

Besides the popup blocker that I don't need?

I don't remember, I downloaded it and did my daily ad-aware scan and it found new spyware pertaining to the Google toolbar, I believe it's part of the "advanced options"

Well I'm not sure if the one you dl'ed has it or not.
You see... they have this thing in it that tells you how popular a page is.
To accomplish this task it uses information about your surfing habits.
That (to me) is spyware!
When I dl'ed it, it gave you a choice between the one that has this feature and one that don't.
I chose of course the one that don't.

Btw I think this is the best explorer add on there is.
Get rid of the spyware one (if you have it) and get the one without it.

I've run both Ad-AwarePro and SpyBot and come up with zip.
I went to advanced options and it turns out that I didn't have the 'page rank' option ticked anyway.
If that's the spyware it's certainly easy enough to disable.

yeah, that's the spyware!
I didn't know you could disable it.
Maybe I'll give the new one a try!

Yeah, you should.
I notice that your toolbar doesn't have the "search images" button.
The new one is worth it just to get that.

A search images button you say?
I'm giving it a try since you say you can turn the page rank feature off.
I didn't originally want to do it because when you dl that thing it goes straight into the reg and you can't reinstall the old one as there isn't a google bar.exe anywhere on my comp....I think?

Btw I like your old avatar better.
Is that a man or a woman's boody?

I've used it for 24 hours now, and when you install it without the Page Rank thingy, Ad-aware 6 Pro and the latest Spybot won't find spyware. :)

I already used Opera (with Google build in), but this "new" Google makes a great combination with IE 6.

@shockandawe~ I know there's not a google.exe file or anything like that... but if you search in your add/remove programs list you'll find it in there. That should get rid of it and any registry keys that it has.

@everyone else... how good is this popup blocker that comes with the new toolbar?? Is it say, good enough as to where i could totally get rid of pop up stopper pro? Does it block popunder ad's too? If so then i might consider the new version as to cut down on resources. :)
