Is it me, or are tons of good new shows coming on TV lately, that there just aint enough time to see. Theres shows I didnt even know existed, like Tom Green has a late night show like Letterman and Leno, theres gonna be a cartoon on Spiderman, but not a kiddy one, and Ren and Stimpy are back on TV. I havent seen Snoop Doggs show either, nor Magic Johnson's street ball show. Ive been missin' out. :(

Is Tivo able to record one thing while you watch another?

TiVo has a website (http://www.tivo.com/0.0.asp).

They also have a forum (http://www.tivocommunity.com/).

You should be able to find out whatever you want there. http://members.roadfly.com/tite-wad/thumb.gif

U can also just build ur own TiVo box as this is usuallly better financially plus if u stick a network adapter on it then u can watch all the movies u download on ur tv withoult burning to disk just transfer them across, and alot of the boxes that u build allow u to also burn programs of onto vcd once they have been recorded whereas a TiVo box does not usually allow u to record anything off onto VHS after its been put on the box

It sounds good. What I know is that you can record shows, up to 80 hours worth (40 if at better quality) and that sounds damn good. But what I must find out, is if unlike VCRs, it can record one thing while watching another. My real problem is whenever theres like two or three things on TV that I wannna watch at the same time. I'll look on their site to find out more info.

You're better off getting the Panasonic DMRHS2EBS (http://www.empiredirect.co.uk/productdetailsnew.asp?modelcode=PAN-DMRHS2EBS). It features a 40GB HDD, records to DVD-RAM (12 hours) and DVD-R (6 hours), DVD-RAM has the advantage over DVD+/-RW as it can record and watch a programme simultaneously :D, but the DVDR1000 by Philips comes second. ;)
