Seedbox...what is it?

Sorry if i have not posted in the correct section but i see the word seedbox linked with bit torrent a lot but if it needs moving, then move it please.

So what is a seedbox? I know i could google but if someone could give me a 'Seedbox for Dummies' answer, i would be grateful.

What is a Seedbox? Is bittorrent terminology for a dedicated server that is used to upload and download torrents. Seedboxes are usually purchased by uploaders and torrent communities to get the latest content at high speeds.

It's just a box people put out on there porches you put seeds in it and it grows things like roses,herb or any other type of plant.Can't believe you didn't know :P
