Hi,

I download a 900MB movie, then after sometime the two seeders i was leeching from disappears

Now i am stuck @ 10% :O, and i don't think they are going to come back, even after i ask for re-seed in the forums!

nvm

So i am wondering if i can view this 10% of the movie , i tried to play it with some full codec players, but none works.

Any clue? ... tnx :)

wow you only have 10% of the movie
usually you can play movies that are 70-80% completed with players like VLC, but I doubt you're gonna manage to play that one (since you haven't downloaded a "straight" 10% of it, those percents are probably scattered everywhere throughout the movie)

if you are using bitcomet the incomplete file usually shows as movie.avi.bc!

and if you rename the file to movie.avi .. you might be able to play it ..

but still 10% is too low..

It's very difficult to preview files downloaded through bittorrent because the file chunks are downloaded in random order. In order to preview an avi, the avi header information has to be present (not 100% true, but it definitely makes it easier). The header is contained in the first chunk, so if you have bt.prio_first_last_piece enabled, it gives you a much better chance. There's a program called avipreview that you can use to play incomplete avi files.

Yeah, none of the given solutions works for me, even Total Video Player, i guess it's unviewable, coz 10% is not that much to view!
