search the site for it, someone asked this not long ago...
anyway, I use a program that came with my SoundBlaster Audigy 2 software bundle...
but there are other programs to do it...

If you use Winamp, try the StreamRipper Plug-In (http://streamripper.sourceforge.net/srdownloads.php)

Or try this:
The sound card already in your PC probably lets you record audio streams. You just have to adjust your record settings.

Double-click the speaker icon in your taskbar.
Click Options and choose Properties.
Select Recording and check mark all the options listed.
Click OK to bring up the Record Control interface.
Select Wave Balance.

Now use the Sound Recorder built into Windows (it's one of your entertainment options in Accessories) to record streams playing in Winamp, RealOne Player, or Windows Media Player. The only catch: You have to click the record and stop buttons for each part of the stream you want to record. Remember to save each track before you start recording again

look for audio record wizard instead

it'll let you record any sounds on your pc, you don't need to use it on a specific program

I think that as long as it's a compatible format (RealAudio, etc.) it will rip/record the media.
