Yup, it has come to this. The word e-mail has been officaly replaced by 'courielle électronique' in all government papers. Do you think the word 'globalisation' will get replaced too?
You gotta give it to those French, they never give up! :lol: :lol:

This has nothing to do with individuality. It's the behaviour of a former world power on 'retour'.
It's the same as using inches, feet, etc when the rest of the world is using the metric system :P :lol:

Yeah, I read that a few days ago on CNN.com.
Seems the French will be using Courriel instead of e-mail from now on.

The French don't use the word e-mail, because it is an English word. And since it is an English word, it reminds them of the USA, and they despise that.
