 Just though i'd ask, you never know.

I met this girl Angela, we worked together in a bar in Glasgow called YoYo. We got on really well but lost touch with each other. I'd love to get back in touch with her but don't know how to start.

Does anyone here come from Vancouver? Or BC? Or even Canada? Is there a popular magazine, or anywhere i could post an ad or something. Any ideas would be gratefilly received.

OK. You can all start the stalker jokes now. :P

Having said that, there was no need to come in calling me a noob.

Oh well pardon me. Tell you what, i'll go and read one of your 'coherent' ketchup threads. I just got annoyed that this guy came in calling me names because i made an error with one of my posts. That wasn't coherent now was it.

Ron

Noob isn't necessarily meant in a denigrating way, you know......

tite-wad
07-24-2003, 12:42 AM
It was a noob type mistake.

And being called a noob hardly justifies calling me ginger. <_<

Ron
07-24-2003, 12:44 AM
Talking about that mistake, you also managed to mess up the quotes.
The first one was Riddlers, not mine.

LTJBukem
07-24-2003, 12:55 AM
Whether i made mistakes with my posting or not, is it that important?
TiteWad, you entered the thread to call me a noob and point out my mistakes.
You didn't direct any communication, smiley or otherwise, to me- just your fellow 'in the know' non-'noobs'. Now, i'm sorry, but this seems to me like bad manners.
Maybe it was childish of me, but i retaliated by taking the piss out of your being ginger.

I'm sorry. Ok, you're not really ginger. Feel better now?

I entered the thread because it was in the Lounge - where I usually post.

And since I can't very well edit your post, I cleaned it up and didn't add much to it myself.

You didn't direct any communication, smiley or otherwise, to me
So your feelings were hurt because I didn't acknowledge you directly?

Who sounds ginger now? <_<

just your fellow 'in the know' non-'noobs'
Yes, the people who are here in the Lounge on a regular basis.

As opposed to someone who has rarely managed to post here - (a lounge noob).

It's ok, really, my feelings are not bruised. In fact, i was only explaining why i chose to ridicule your having ginger bollocks. It was you who chose to post here and start calling names. It matters to me not one bit. I'd rather be a 'noob' than waste my life typing messages to people i'll never meet.

I almost choked on my drink when i read this!! Come on now, really. The majority of posting in here could hardly be described as 'adult'. You really need to get out more.

I think i'll shut up now. It's really not like me to flame but you were asking for it.

Your sig says it all really.
