I was selling a PSP with M33 firmware on it. WTF? I didn't know that was illegal. No .isos were included and I even stated that in my description. I'm really pissed off right now. I will have no Christmas money to spend either.

Anyone else have problems with eBay? Share your story.

Oh yeah, and my last $10 on my PayPal account went to eBay.

This is BULLSHIT! (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&Item=280184541723&Category=62054)

Exactly my point. The auction has been going on for days. My auction was deleted after roughly 20 minutes and it only included un-official firmware. Read his description and you will see why it is illegal.

but isnt the custom firmware illegal? so both auctions are illegal?

Custom Firmware is not illegal. I have seen M33 PSP systems successfully sell on eBay. Search 'M33 PSP' on eBay. Bootlegged games are, however, illegal. EBay has a very poor reputation for suspending people's accounts for no reason.

Did you sell yours with custom firmware, supra?

That Sucks! There is not any eBay rules, or regulation on what you were trying to sell that would cause them to do this. I would give them a call and tell them nothing you did was illegal or against there rules, or regulations. Ask them very politely, and say yes mam, or yes sir. Be as nice as you can be and I'm sure they will reverse this. They should have sent you an email at least saying take the auction down but tell them you had no idea this was wrong, or you would have not done it. There is a ton of auctions with people selling firmware with there products.

If you go to google.com and type in "ebay psp with m33 firmware" without the quotes you will see a ton of people selling the same thing you were but they did not get there account deleted. Tell them this as well. If they shut you down they got to shut down them to.

Ebay does not have a customer support number.

Yes they do...

You can use either one of the following eBay 800 numbers to contact eBay by phone: 1-800-322-9266 and 1-888-749-3229.
The telephone number for eBay UK is 02086 053 000.
Keep in mind that eBay's company hours are 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Pacific time

Thankyou, boodaddymac, but what I meant by that is there is no real customer support number. Those numbers just redirect you to eBay URL's - it is all automated. I would be interested if eBay started to actually have real people on the line who can help you.
